OutdoorGlow+ is Hamulight’s 24-volt system for verandas. Fully plug & play: components connect seamlessly without tools. From the power socket to the LED strips, everything is ready to plug in directly. This way you can install your veranda lighting quickly, safely and without technical knowledge.

The essentials

The heart of OutdoorGlow+ consists of our LED strips, optionally combined with built-in spots for extra accents. Depending on the desired light effect you can choose from Denia (L2265), Avila (L2252) or the magnetic Tarifa (L2416). For a sleek integration in the veranda profiles we also offer the built-in spot Parla (L2396).

The total wattage of your selection determines the transformer. For small verandas the 75W (L2251) is usually sufficient, for medium-sized setups the 150W (L2379) is ideal and for larger verandas or long runs you choose the 240W (L2380). Always calculate the total wattage of all strips or spots together and add around twenty percent margin. This way the transformer remains efficient and quiet, and you can still expand later.

Between transformer and LED strips you place the receiver that controls the lighting. By default this is the Hamulight WiFi LED receiver (L2388) for app control with scenes, timers and dimming. If you use Somfy, choose the Somfy receiver (L2257). Prefer remote control without a phone? Then use the Moon (L2386) or Novex (L2390). Somfy also offers its own remote (L2382). The receiver (control system) and your chosen control always work together.

How to connect

The power goes from the 230V socket to the 24V transformer. From the transformer you connect the plug & play cable to the receiver, which then powers the LED strips. With the matching waterproof splitters (2-, 3- or 4-way, L2259) you can easily branch out to multiple strip lines. To bridge distances, simply use extension cables (L2260). All connections are designed for veranda use and connect without tools.

Planning & practical tips

Place the transformer in a dry, well-ventilated spot in or near the veranda. Plan your cable routes in advance so you know how many extension cables and splitters are needed. Keep 24V cables as short as possible to avoid voltage drop. Always install LED strips in aluminium profiles for cooling and a sleek finish. When choosing the transformer, consider a little extra capacity for future expansion.
