OutdoorFlex+ is Hamulight’s 24-volt RGB CCT system for verandas and patio roofs. Fully plug & play: all components connect seamlessly without tools. Create your perfect lighting setup in no time – from warm white to cool white or any desired colour – quickly, safely and without technical knowledge.

What’s the foundation?

The core of OutdoorFlex+ consists of smart strips, complemented by recessed and wall lights for extra accents. Each fixture contains high-quality RGB CCT chips allowing both white light (2700K–6500K) and colour adjustment. Create the right mood for every moment – from practical task lighting to cosy evening ambience.

Depending on your preferred effect, choose strips for uniform base lighting integrated into veranda beams; recessed lights for subtle ceiling accents; wall lights for atmospheric effects on walls and posts; and accessories such as profiles, cable connectors and extension cables to complete your installation.

The total power of your setup determines the transformer. For small verandas 75W (L2251) is usually sufficient, for medium setups use 150W (L2379) and for larger or longer runs choose 240W (L2380). Add roughly twenty percent headroom for efficient, quiet operation and future expansion.

The receiver (L24XX) connects to the transformer’s output, powering and controlling all strips, recessed lights and wall lamps. All connectors are waterproof with a twist-lock design for secure, tool-free installation.

The OutdoorFlex+ receiver supports Matter, making it easy to integrate with Google Home, Amazon Alexa or Apple Home. Control via voice, app, or with the Nova remote (L2547), which can manage up to four lighting zones separately or all at once. Each zone requires its own receiver.

How to connect it?

Power runs from the 230V outlet to the 24V transformer. From there, connect the plug-and-play cable to the receiver, which drives the lighting. Use 2-, 3- or 4-way cable connectors to branch off multiple lines and extension cables to bridge distances. All connections are designed for outdoor use and connect securely without tools. Place the receiver in a dry, sheltered location close to the lighting for best performance.

Planning & practical tips

Install the transformer in a dry, ventilated place near the veranda. Map out cable routes beforehand to determine how many connectors and extensions you’ll need. Keep 24V cables as short as possible to avoid voltage drop. Mount strips in aluminium profiles for proper cooling and a clean finish. Choose a slightly larger transformer for future upgrades.
