Privacy statement

Your privacy is of great importance to Hamulight. We therefore adhere to the Privacy Act. This means that your data is safe with us and that we always use it properly. In this privacy statement, we explain what we do with the information we learn about you at the web shop www.hamulight.com. If you have any questions, or want to know exactly what we keep of you, please contact us.

Processing your order
When you place an order with us, we use your personal data to be able to process it properly. We may give your personal data to our delivery service to deliver the order to you. We also receive information about your payment from your bank or credit card company. For this purpose, we use your name and address, telephone number, billing address and e-mail address. We are legally obliged to do this. We retain this information until your order is completed and for seven years thereafter (this is the legal retention period).

Provision to third parties
We work together with certain companies who may receive the personal data mentioned above from us. For order processing we cooperate with a payment provider, PayPal and a postal service. PayPal is based outside the EU.

Contact form and newsletter
You can use the contact form to ask us questions or make requests. For this purpose, we use your name, telephone number and e-mail address. We need these details because of the contract we have with you. We keep this information until we are sure that you are satisfied with our response. You can subscribe to our newsletter. Herein you can read news, tips and information about our products and services. You can cancel your subscription at any time. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. Your e-mail address will only be added to the list of subscribers with your permission. This data will be stored until you cancel your subscription.

Advertisements
Our web shop displays general advertisements. We don't keep any personal data, so we don't know if you like them.

WebwinkelKeur
We collect reviews through the platform of WebwinkelKeur. If you leave a review through WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide your name, address and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this information with us, so we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur will also publish your name and place of residence on their website. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to explain your review. In the event that we invite you to leave a review, we will share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. They use this information only to invite you to leave a review. WebwinkelKeur has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. WebwinkelKeur reserves the right to use third parties for the provision of services, for this we have given permission to WebwinkelKeur. All the above mentioned guarantees regarding the protection of your personal data are also applicable to the parts of the service for which WebwinkelKeur uses third parties.

Provision to other companies or organizations
With the exception of the partners mentioned above, we will under no circumstances give your personal information to other companies or organizations, except when we are legally obliged to do so (for example, if the police demand it when they suspect a crime).

Social media buttons are included in our web shop. The operators of these services use these buttons to collect your personal data.

Cookies
Our web shop uses cookies. Cookies are small files in which we can store information so that you do not have to fill it in every time. But they also allow us to see that you are visiting us again.

You can disable cookies in your browser, but some parts of our webstore will then not work properly anymore.

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our webshop. We have concluded a processing agreement with Google. This contains strict agreements about what they are allowed to keep track of. We allow Google to use the Analytics information obtained for other Google services. We let Google anonymise the IP addresses.

Security
Security of personal data is important to us. We make sure that your data is well protected. We constantly adjust the security and pay attention to what can go wrong.

Changes to this privacy statement
When our shop changes, we must of course also adapt the privacy statement. So always pay attention to the date above and check regularly for new versions. We will do our best to announce changes separately.

  • to ask us to correct mistakes
  • to request the removal of out of date personal data

Please note that you should always clearly state who you are, so that we can be sure that we are not modifying or deleting data relating to the wrong person.

Filing a complaint
If you feel that we are not helping you in the right way, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority. This is called the Authority Personal Data.
